When a woman stands up for herself, when she demands to be treated equally and doesn’t tolerate nonsense or disrespect, she’s often described as “difficult.”

Which is really just a polite way of saying she’s a bitch.

You’re not supposed to say that out loud, though, expletives being frowned upon in the public discourse and all that. So difficult becomes a code word. A way of letting everyone know that the woman in question doesn’t know her place without outing yourself as a blatant misogynist.

But every woman who hears it knows exactly what “difficult” really means.

As women command more of the spotlight in our society − there’s an explosion of interest in women’s sports, Kamala Harris could be the country’s first female president, Taylor Swift and Beyoncé are driving economic growth − we’re being forced to think about how we frame women. The negative labels we use for them, in particular.

“It is a word used to hold women down. So I’m offended by that,” said Cheryl Reeve, who’s been called ‘difficult’ a time or 12 while leading the Minnesota Lynx to a record-tying four WNBA titles and the U.S. women to the gold medal at this summer’s Paris Olympics.

“The men that use those words should be more cognizant of the impact of their words, whether it’s me in the WNBA and our organization or whether it’s Sally who works at an accounting firm,” Reeve added. “It is not acceptable for men to call women difficult because they’re confident in themselves or because they’re deemed as aggressive. Because men are permitted to do these things all the time.

“It’s a double standard.”

It’s exhausting, this patrolling of women’s actions and attitudes. We have to be friendly but not too much so. We have to work hard but not be overly ambitious. We have to be tough but still be grateful. We have to be kind and caring while laughing off the insults and condescension.

And God forbid we don’t smile.

“It is really about policing their position, policing the power they have to suppress their power, which thereby reaffirms and maintains the status quo,” said Cheryl Cooky, a professor at Purdue University who studies the intersection of gender, sport and culture.

We’ve grown tired of it. Rather, we’ve grown tired of accepting it. Which is why the growth in women’s sports matters so much, a legion of badass women for whom competitiveness, drive and candidness aren’t just positive character traits, they’re a required skill set.

It’s also why so many women cheered Vice President Kamala Harris’ response to a criticism that she wasn’t “humble” — which is more coded language for being a bitch.

“There are a whole lot of women out here who, one, are not aspiring to be humble,” the Democratic presidential candidate said earlier this month during an appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast.

That doesn’t mean there’s a groundswell of arrogant women or women who are deliberately ignorant of their impact on others. It does mean there are women who are comfortable owning their greatness. Women who recognize their talent, their intellect and their leadership abilities, and refuse to apologize for them or diminish them in order to make others comfortable.

As more and more accomplished, high-profile women − Swift, Beyonce, the rest of the WNBA, the U.S. women’s national team, to name a few − join Harris and Reeve in living unapologetically, it puts everyone on notice. The women who’ve suffered the disrespect in silence. The people who’ve used the term not fully appreciating the harm it causes.

And, most of all, the people who want women to stay firmly under a patriarchal thumb.

“Representation matters. Seeing somebody in that position, it’s, `I’m not alone,’” Cooky said. “If Kamala Harris is having to deal with these issues or Cheryl Reeve, it might be reassuring. It might also be really frustrating. It’s probably both at the same time.

“That response or visibility also creates a culture of being able to speak out or being able to call it out when it happens in your own space,” Cooky added. “It’s a kind of permission for other women to do this as well. It signals, `No, this is not OK.’”

For so long — too long — women have walked on eggshells so as not to offend the power brokers and gatekeepers, almost all of whom were men. We’ve lowered our voices and ambitions so others wouldn’t do it for us. We’ve tolerated, albeit with gritted teeth, the little humiliations in hopes it would, someday, lead to big changes.

But we are done minimizing ourselves to accommodate the insecurities and imagined privileges of others.

‘Something Bill Laimbeer taught me, which I told him was easy for him given his position as a former NBA player, was you can never coach afraid to lose your job. You can never fear that,’ Reeve said earlier this week. ‘But there was a message in there that I took which was, be confident in who you are, what you do and be yourself.’

Doesn’t sound so difficult, after all.

Despite a light economic data week, the stock market continued its rally, with the S&P 500 ($SPX) and the Dow Jones Industrial Average ($INDU) closing at record highs. How many times have we heard that? This is the sixth positive week for the three indexes.

Strong earnings from big banks, Taiwan Semiconductor Mfg. (TSM), United Airlines Holdings (UAL), and Netflix, Inc. (NFLX) injected optimistic energy into the stock market.

Tech Stocks Hold Steady

The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite ($COMPQ) may not have hit all-time highs, but its daily chart is worth a closer look. An ascending triangle formation has reached its apex, indicating indecision among investors. The breadth indicators in the lower panels below the price chart echo this indecision.

CHART 1. NASDAQ COMPOSITE CONVERGING AT TRIANGLE APEX. The Nasdaq Composite seems to be at a point of indecision. This could continue until Tech stocks report quarterly earnings.Chart source: StockCharts.com. For educational purposes.

The Nasdaq Bullish Percent Index (BPI) is trending higher but is registering at 57.76, which is slightly bullish. The percentage of Nasdaq stocks trading above their 200-day moving average is also lukewarm, and the Nasdaq advance-decline line isn’t showing strong bullish participation.

Investors are probably waiting for Tech earnings. Until then, the index will probably stay put unless some unknown market-moving event occurs before then. The indecision in Tech stocks isn’t stopping investors from shifting to other areas of the market.

Mid-Caps Might Flatten

The S&P 400 Mid Cap Index ($MID) broke out of its trading range in September and has been trading above it since then. The index hit an all-time high this week, but has started to show signs of flattening (see last two bars in chart below).

CHART 2. MID-CAP STOCKS BREAK OUT OF RANGE. After hitting an all-time high, the S&P 400 Mid-Cap Index is stalling.Chart source: StockCharts.com. For educational purposes.

The percentage of $MID stocks above their 200-day moving average is 73, which is pretty healthy. The advances still need higher volume to push the index higher. Until that happens, the mid-cap asset class may stall.

Bitcoin Breaks Out, Gold Glitters

Bitcoin has also shown its might this week. The weekly chart shows Bitcoin breaking out of a flag pattern (see below).

CHART 3. BITCOIN BREAKS OUT OF A CONSOLIDATION PATTERN. A breakout plus a possible MACD crossover could send Bitcoin prices higher. Note that the crossover is close to the zero line, an encouraging sign.Chart source: StockCharts.com. For educational purposes.

After hitting the measured move targets following the previous consolidation, $BTCUSD has been in an extended consolidation pattern and has finally broken out. A bullish crossover in the moving average convergence/divergence (MACD) could occur. The crossover is close to the zero line, a criterion I look for. Look at what happened to the price of Bitcoin the last time a crossover took place at the zero line! Bitcoin could move higher by about 42.5%.

Speaking of all-time highs, gold prices are on fire. The SPDR Gold Shares ETF (GLD) has been in an uptrend since early March, and central bank interest rate cuts have propelled gold prices higher (see chart below).

CHART 4. GOLD PRICES ON A TEAR THIS YEAR. GLD has been following a typical uptrend, going through consolidations, breaking out of them, and continuing its ride higher.Chart source: StockCharts.com. For educational purposes.

GLD could potentially rise above $250, but it’s difficult to set an entry point unless there’s a pullback. If you are considering going long now, apply stringent stop losses.

The Atlanta Fed GDPNow is estimating a 3.4% growth in Q3 2024. This has led investors to think the Fed will not cut interest rates in its November meeting. However, the CME FedWatch Tool shows a 92.9% probability of a 25 basis point cut. So, if there’s a rate cut in November, GLD could rise higher. This can change though, considering we’re less than three weeks away from the meeting, which happens to be right after the U.S. presidential election.

Looking Forward

Next week is thin on economic data, but earnings season continues. It’s not a strong week for Tech earnings, so the Nasdaq could continue its indecisive price action. As for the rest of the market, there could be more of the same. As always, anything could happen over the weekend that could send things awry.

End-of-Week Wrap-Up

S&P 500 closed up 0.85% for the week, at 5864.67, Dow Jones Industrial Average up 0.96% for the week at 43,275.91; Nasdaq Composite closed up 0.80% for the week at 18,489.55$VIX down 11.88% for the week, closing at 18.03Best performing sector for the week: UtilitiesWorst performing sector for the week: EnergyTop 5 Large Cap SCTR stocks: Insmed Inc. The Moving Average Convergence/Divergence (MACD) indicator, created by technical analyst Gerald Appel, is a technical indicator designed to confirm once a trend change has occurred.  Based on exponential moving averages, it is not built to anticipate a price reversal, but rather to identify that one has already occurred.

The lesser known MACD histogram can actually provide a powerful leading indicator as to when a turning point could be just around the corner.  Today we’ll use the weekly chart of IBM to show how by combining these two techniques, we can anticipate potential reversals and then confirm when and how the trend has shifted.

Using the MACD or PPO Indicator to Define the Trend

To start this discussion, let’s be clear on why we’re using the PPO indicator instead of MACD on our example charts.  The MACD indicator is based on the price difference between two exponential moving averages, while the PPO indicator is based on the percent difference between those two averages.

For a short-term time frame, the indicators are almost identical and either one can be used for effective signals.  For long-term time frames, however, using percentage terms instead of price terms allows for a more consistent comparison especially if the stock or ETF has experienced big price swings.

On the weekly chart of International Business Machines (IBM), the PPO indicator (bottom panel) starts with the PPO line, which represents the difference between the 12 and 26-week exponential moving averages.  Then we have the red signal line, which is simply a 9-bar moving average of the PPO line.

Note the sell signal in late March 2024, when the PPO line crossed down through the red signal line.  Conversely, the buy signal in mid-July is based on the PPO line crossing back up through the red signal line.  At the present time, the PPO indicator suggests the uptrend is alive and well, with the PPO line sloping higher above the red signal line.

Adding the Histogram Helps to Anticipate the Signals

See how the sell signal in March came after the peak had occurred, and the price was already in a new downtrend?  Also, notice how the buy signal in July appeared well after the actual price low in April?

This is actually by design, as the PPO indicator is considered a lagging indicator.  It’s not designed to tell you a reversal may be coming soon, but rather that a reversal recently happened and is now being confirmed.  But what if we want to anticipate those reversals before they occur?

The PPO histogram, shown behind the PPO indicator in blue, represents the difference between the PPO line and the signal line.  Go back to that March peak, and you may notice that the histogram had started to slope downward starting in February.  Then in May, right as the price was finding a new swing low, the histogram started to slope back upwards.

So to summarize the components, the histogram reversals raise the “red flag” that a potential price reversal is coming, and then the actual PPO crossover confirms that the trend reversal has actually occurred.  Now we can use the PPO indicator as both a leading and a lagging indicator!

Using the Histogram With Other Indicators

Fast forward to October 2024, and you’ll see that this week the PPO histogram moved slightly lower.  This could represent the early warning of an impending top for IBM.  In this situation, I like to go to a lower time frame, in this case the daily chart, and use trend-following techniques to confirm a breakdown on the shorter time frame.  While the weekly may still be my main indication, a sell signal could come earlier on the daily chart and help me to take action before the pain gets too unbearable!

Here I’m showing the Chandelier Exit system, which is a trailing stop indicator based on Average True Range (ATR).  As long as IBM remains above the Chandelier Exit, the uptrend is most likely still alive and well on the daily chart.  A breakdown of this trailing stop could help me confirm the bearish divergence we’ve noted on the weekly PPO chart.

The technical analysis toolkit consists mainly of leading indicators and lagging indicators.  While I primarily use lagging indicators to follow the trends and confirm trend reversals, I have also found leading indicators such as the PPO histogram to be a vital part of managing risk and identifying opportunities for my portfolio.

Oregon also has conference wins over UCLA (34-13) and Michigan State (31-10).

The Boilermakers opened the season with a 49-0 win over Indiana State but have lost their previous five games by a combined 234-114 to Notre Dame, Oregon State, Nebraska, Wisconsin, and Illinois. Purdue did send the Fighting Illini to overtime last week but fell short in a 50-49 loss.

Kyle Shanahan and the San Francisco 49ers are keenly aware of their track record versus the Kansas City Chiefs as they prepare for their marquee Super Bowl 54 and 58 rematch.

‘I think everyone understands that we’ve lost the two Super Bowls to them. So I mean, that can give a little post-traumatic stress when you turn on the tape, but I think that’s human nature,’ Shanahan said this week. ‘But you’ve got to make sure you don’t get caught up in that. This game has nothing to do with past games. That was last year.’

Shanahan and the 49ers reviewed tape of Kansas City’s five wins this year and San Francisco’s 25-22 Super Bowl 58 loss to the Chiefs last year. Shanahan’s assessment is the Chiefs defense is improved from the NFL’s second-ranked unit from a season ago.

‘I think it’s gotten better and better each year. I thought last year was the best defense that we played all year and I feel that way this year so far,’ Shanahan said. ‘They’ve got guys who’ve been playing a long time together. They’ve been doing his scheme for a while.’

The Chiefs once again have a top-10 ranked defense and are allowing just 17 points per contest. But the Chiefs’ two preeminent forces are quarterback Patrick Mahomes and head coach Andy Reid.

NFL STATS CENTRAL: The latest NFL scores, schedules, odds, stats and more.

‘Andy’s been doing it for so long, does a great job on offense,’ 49ers offensive line coach Chris Foerster said. ‘That’s a very, very good staff.’

Mahomes is 4-0 in his career versus the 49ers, including the two aforementioned Super Bowl wins. Reid is 4-1 against San Francisco through the regular and postseason since becoming Kansas City’s head coach in 2013.

‘I think it features around their quarterback, obviously. Puts them in a great position to make a ton of plays and he has a guy who can make a ton of plays,’ Shanahan said. ‘They always dabble in all screens, RPOs, you’ve always got to be ready for new plays, one that you haven’t seen. Always enjoyed watching Andy since he was back in Philly and he continues to evolve also.’

Statistically, however, Mahomes is off to a slow start by his standards. Mahomes’ 247 passing yards per game are a career low and his 88.9 passer rating is the lowest since he became Kansas City’s full-time starter. But Mahomes’ numbers don’t paint the whole picture for the undefeated Chiefs, according to Shanahan.

‘I think everyone says down year just because their numbers aren’t just crazy, but Pat is as good as it gets. He’s been as good as it gets since the first year that he got to play,’ Shanahan said. ‘Pat is Pat and he’s as good as it gets and I don’t see that changing at all.’

49ers defensive coordinator Nick Sorensen agrees.

‘However many times you’ve gone against Mahomes, it’s going to be hard,’ Sorensen said. ‘He’s so difficult because he doesn’t always do the same thing. The arm angle’s never the same, he doesn’t have to set his feet, sometimes he does. He’s really good at reading the defense and kind of throwing it to where he needs to.’

The 49ers know firsthand how difficult it is to defeat the Chiefs, even if the numbers say Mahomes and Kansas City’s offense aren’t as potent. Shanahan has never defeated the Chiefs as the 49ers head coach. All San Francisco has to do is turn on past tape and they’ll get ‘a little post-traumatic stress’ all over again.

Although, San Francisco can get some revenge at home Sunday.

President Biden has gone silent on Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s push for permission from its Western partners to use long-range missiles to strike targets deep inside Russia, a ranking member of the Senate Armed Services Committee revealed.

Sen. Roger Wicker, the GOP ranking member on the powerful Senate Armed Services Committee, shared with FOX that he is concerned that Biden does not intend to make any decision on Zelenskyy’s top request, saying that the administration had gone quiet.

Wicker’s statement was released as Biden departed on a visit to Berlin, Germany – which was supposed to advocate for further Ukraine support, but Biden has made zero major announcements.’

The Mississippi senator sent Biden a letter with ten recommendations to place Ukraine in the most advantageous position for Biden’s successor.

‘I am frustrated – and mystified – that your administration has accomplished so little in the last three months regarding the war in Ukraine. You seem poised to leave the next president a weak hand,’ Wicker wrote in his letter to Biden. ‘Nonetheless, I maintain that a focused effort – directed by you – could make a substantial difference over your final 90 days as president.’

Wicker’s Ten Recommendations:

Increase the pace of weapons transfers to Ukraine: The Senator suggested that the U.S. immediately provide Ukrainian allies with the remaining $5.5 billion in Presidential Drawdown Authority (PDA).
Allow greater flexibility on restrictions for U.S.-provided munitions: Wicker argued that Biden should immediately revise any policies that limit the use of U.S.-provided munitions, including ballistic missiles, to strike military targets inside Russia. He said that the U.S. should change its policy to restrict the type of targets, rather than the distance from the border.
Increase the cap of U.S. government non-military personnel allowed in-country: Wicker suggested that Biden direct Secretary of State Anthony Blinken to increase the number of government personnel allowed in Ukraine. He said that the current personnel are overwhelmed and are unable to provide anything beyond day-to-day management.
Establish a regulated presence of U.S. military contractors inside Ukraine: The Senator said that the administration should allow a limited number of U.S. military contractors to support operations inside the country. He said that the presence of U.S. military contractors would also help mentor Ukrainian personnel to increase self-sufficiency and increase their ability to maintain U.S. equipment.
Expand training for Ukrainian land forces: The United States should maximize the use of all available training capacity located in the European Command (EUCOM) area of responsibility, Wicker said. The expansion would allow Ukraine to train more troops, he said.

Deliver more shareable, commercially-derived intelligence: The administration should use processes already in place to increase the delivery of available unclassified information to Ukraine, Wicker wrote.
Dramatically expand the Pentagon industrial base policy workforce: The Senator suggested that Biden should direct the Secretary of Defense to reassign at least 100 DOD civil servants and move them into the base policy workforce offices and ask Congress for new hiring authority and supplemental money.
Rapidly accelerate contracting timelines: Wicker said that Biden should formally direct the Secretary of Defense and the service acquisition executives to require all contracting officers to leverage contracting flexibilities laid out by the DOD.

Hold monthly high-level defense industrial base meetings: Wicker said that Biden should direct the Secretaries of State, Defense, and Commerce to host monthly high-level defense industrial base meetings with Ukraine, key NATO allies, and defense industry officials.
Deliver more Dual Purpose Improved Conventional Munitions (DPICMs): Wicker said that the U.S. inventory includes hundreds of thousands of serviceable 155mm DPICMs rounds and that Biden should send $250 million of them to Ukraine.

Kyiv has been pleading with America for permission to use long-range missiles supplied by the West to hit air bases deep inside Russia from where aircraft are flying missions to target towns and cities in Ukraine with ‘glide bombs’.

In an overnight address following Biden’s visit to Berlin, Zelenskyy thanked the U.S. for their continued support.

‘Last night, I spoke with President Biden. Many issues were covered. I am grateful for the new support package. 425 million dollars is the amount. This is air defense – our special priority,’ he said. ‘We also talked about our upcoming packages. President Biden gave me his word that the package will be implemented in the near future. We spoke about long-range weapons.’

The New York Liberty have made the WNBA Finals five times in franchise history, but they have come away empty-handed each time. Now, the Liberty are just one win away from their first-ever WNBA championship.

But New York isn’t daydreaming about a championship parade just yet.

‘The job’s not done,’ Breanna Stewart said after her double-double performance (30 points, 11 rebounds) in the Liberty’s thrilling Game 3 win over the Minnesota Lynx. ‘We know we’re one game away from winning the championship, and I think that they are going to give us their best shot. They are going to give everything they have got, and you know what, so are we.’

That’s exactly the plan for Minnesota. ‘It’s win or go home at this point,’ said the Lynx’s Napheesa Collier, who has now scored the most points in a single postseason (249) after surpassing Dianna Taurasi’s 2009 postseason performance (245) on Wednesday. ‘We have to come in with the mindset that we’re going to be just as aggressive.’

Inter Miami’s pursuit of the MLS points record Saturday could begin with star Lionel Messi likely coming off the bench, coach Tata Martino said on Friday.

Messi, fresh off his hat trick and two assists with the Argentine national team this week, will be evaluated after Friday’s practice for Saturday’s home game against New England Revolution at Chase Stadium.

With a win, Inter Miami would finish this season with 74 points and break the Revolution’s record of 73 points set in 2021. The club has already clinched the MLS Supporters’ Shield and the No. 1 seed in the MLS Cup Playoffs.

“The match is important because we have been setting goals and this is a goal that was not planned since the beginning of the season, but now that we have it, we will try to achieve it,” Martino said of the points record.

“Of course, our main focus is on the other Friday (the playoff game). … We are also analyzing what participation we can give to the players who came from the national team, including Leo. It is more likely that he will start from the bench because obviously he has traveled, he has played.”

Here’s the latest on Messi

Messi has played in seven total matches, scoring eight goals, since his return on Sept. 14 from a right-ankle ligament injury during the Copa America final that sidelined him for two months.

Messi returned to Inter Miami practice on Thursday and Friday, after playing two matches with Argentina last week for World Cup 2026 qualifying.

Messi has not yet committed to playing for Argentina in the next World Cup.

“I don’t get ahead of myself. I try to enjoy day by day. When the time comes, we’ll see,” Messi said about the next World Cup after accepting the MARCA America Award on Thursday.

Bo Dallas didn’t know if he could do it.

He and his brother Windham Rotunda – known professionally as Bray Wyatt – had spent so much time brainstorming ideas for their WWE return. The brothers were like kids again. They were excited, constantly planning, to the point Wyatt would text his sibling at 3 a.m. just to tell him something he thought of.

It all changed when, in August 2023, Wyatt died at the age of 36. The family was devastated, and Dallas thought everything he and his brother had been building for was gone.

Even as he dealt with the sudden loss of a WWE icon, Dallas knew he had to come back to WWE. It had been a while since he last appeared for the company, but he wanted to at least give it a shot. He wanted to continue his brother’s legacy, but he was worried and doubted not only how it was going to be perceived, but if it was going to work.

Then the music hit, the crowd reacted, and all those fears went away. Dallas was back as Uncle Howdy – the character he and his brother created in his final stint in WWE – and he brought along a new group to form the Wyatt Sicks, a group destined to continue the work of Wyatt.

‘I didn’t know if I wanted to continue without my brother, but as this has gone forward, I realize he’s with me more than ever,’ Dallas told USA TODAY Sports. ‘I always loved wrestling, but I thought maybe the passing of my brother might have taken that away from me, but it’s been the exact opposite.

‘I thrive off that moment where the music hits and I step out and I can feel Windham still with me.’

As Dallas works to push his brother’s legacy forward, Wyatt’s ideas continue to come to fruition. Earlier this week, WWE 2K24 released the ‘Bray Wyatt Edition’ of their game, which includes the new version of ‘The Fiend’ – the menacing character Wyatt portrayed – that was supposed to be reinvented when Wyatt was to come back to WWE programming before his death.

Dallas said ‘it’s unbelievable’ to see his brother’s creations still come to life after his death.

‘The world gets the chance to see that even though he’s gone, his ideas and legacy are still going through,’ he said.

It’s not just in the video game world where the influence stays. Wyatt’s fingerprints are still well into the fabric of Uncle Howdy and the Wyatt Sicks.

‘Everything that’s going on up to this date and then going forward, if it’s not Windham’s idea, it has a piece of Windham’s idea in it,’ Dallas said.

Who the members are of the Wyatt Sicks are also thanks to Wyatt. Based on characters from Wyatt’s Firefly Fun House, the group features Erick Rowan, Nikki Cross, Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis. Dallas said all the people were personally picked by Wyatt to be part of the stable.

‘He wanted to work with them,’ Dallas said. ‘He hand picked them for reasons almost unknown to me. Like he just saw something and felt something in them.’

The group has been a success since its electric debut in June. The moment the lights start to go off and that singular note from the song ‘Shatter’ – which was also Wyatt’s entrance music – hits, the crowd erupts knowing something mythical is about to take place.

The support from fans has been a heartwarming moment for Dallas. There are some interactions he gets where people will hug him and others will simply say ‘I love you.’

It’s the affection that helps Dallas continue his mission. He’s giving all of his heart and attention into his craft, and he’ll continue to do it as long as he continues to feel what he experiences from the WWE Universe. The Wyatt Sicks appear to have finished their feud with American Alpha, but as for what’s next?

Just like his brother, Dallas has plenty of plans in store.

‘You’re just gonna have to wait and see,’ he said. ‘The Wyatt Sicks is just getting started. We got a lot of work to do.’

Wyatt surely has to be proud to see what his brother is doing for him, but Dallas has gained support from those closest to him that also work to keep the Wyatt legacy alive. He comes from a storied wrestling family, and he describes the past year as the hardest one in their lives.

But as they’ve dealt with tragedy, they’ve become closer, and ‘they’ve been right there along’ the journey to continue the story. Dallas said his family is proud of him because they all know ‘this is what Windham would want.’

One of more mysterious characters in WWE, Wyatt appeared to be larger than life. He didn’t just seem that way to fans, his brother saw him in the same light. Dallas felt like his brother could see into the future, and he recalled before his death that – looking back at it now – it almost seems as if Wyatt knew his brother would be the one to carry the torch.

‘When we were talking and going through all these ideas, a lot of times, he would just say, ‘you just be ready, man, you be ready,” Dallas said. ‘Maybe it was a foresight that he was given, I don’t know. But it just solidifies this is exactly what I’m supposed to be doing for him, because I know this is what he wants.’

It’s a big responsibility to carry a legacy, but Dallas knows he can do it because he isn’t alone. He loves his brother, and so does all of WWE, and they’re all in it together.

‘I feel the love from everybody watching this and that is a part of this, because it’s not just me, it’s everybody,’ he said. ‘Everybody’s in on this for Bray.’
